When he opened his jewelry store at Germantown Avenue and Silver Street over 100 years ago, Fred H. Straub Sr. sought to serve his clients and friends with uncommon personalized service. The street clock on the sidewalk came to symbolize that exceptional service and became a North Philadelphia landmark.

Since 1959 the same clock has graced the front of our store in Abington where it has taken on landmark status as well. Today, three generations later, Fred H. Straub Jewelers is still family owned and operated, and still strives to provide that same level of service while offering a diverse selection of fine jewelry, swiss watches, diamond rings, and gifts.
